Etsy Rave- Much Ado About You

Mr. D always buys me exactly what I want.

This is because, weeks before any gift-giving occasion, I start sending emails with subject lines that read:
"BUY ME THIS" or "HINT HINT HINT"
and the email contains a direct link to the item online.  I don't mess with all that subtlety stuff.

Anyway, I live and die by planners, and had my heart on a specific Etsy seller for my 2010-2011 planner, however, she couldn't provide me with the August-July format I so desperately needed.

Filled with dismay, I wondered if I'd ever find a planner that fit my teachery needs!

Then I discovered Etsy seller Much Ado About You, and fell in love immediately with not only her colorful, personalized covers, but also her customizable calendar layouts-- which included a teacher planner option!  Immediately, I sent the link and all my customizable choices to Mr. D, who presented me with my first anniversary gift (paper- how perfect!): the totally customized planner.  He's so darn thoughtful!

I plan on putting a photo in the pink plaid area, once we get a nice pic of Mr. D, Fenway, and I together.

Each weekday is broken down into "Before School," "After School," and the hours of the school day.  Perfect to keep track of meetings, conferences, meetings, assemblies, and meetings.

Coordinating tabs=adorable.

The first thing I do is mark all the school holidays.  You might think "No School" on Thanksgiving or Christmas is a given, but alas, I get joy out of marking it.

Each planner is spiral-bound with a clear protective cover. Names/initials/monograms, and "photo spots" are all customizable.

Not a teacher?
It's all good.  Much Ado About You has several types of planners:
-Standard calendar
-Student academic planner
-Appointment schedule planner
-Address book

What's great about these planners is the ability to customize.  You select the 12-month range, the personalization, the planner size, and you can even personalize the holidays using the "Add-on" option.

You can check out all Much Ado About You's designs here, or check out the mastermind behind Much Ado About You, Emmy, at her blog, Confessions of a Paper Freak.

Note: I was not asked to review this product, nor was I compensated in any way.  I (or rather, my husband) paid full-price for my planner and I just loved it so much that I thought I'd share.

Now, I must know, does anyone else have a mildly disturbing planner obsession?

  1. You're not alone!
I'm not a teacher, I'm just OCD about what I'm doing and when I'm supposed to be doing it... oh and I'm a stickler for Birthdays and holidays.

My most recent planner purchase was not all it was cracked up to be, and oddly enough today I was thinking about picking up a new one. Your post was very well timed. I'm going to check out her shop tonight!
