I would apologize for not blogging... if I was sorry about it. I'm not!
I've done very little of interest to anyone, myself included.
House-sprucing has halted due to the fact that the house-sprucing fund is now depleted for awhile.
My weight loss has halted due to the fact that it's summer and I will eat, ahem, HAVE EATEN all the ice cream my heart desires. And pizza. And brownies. And burgers.
(I haven't gained any weight though, which is shocking. Down 28 pounds. I actually tried on a bridesmaid dress today and have dropped a size since March. It surprised me because it means I've lost weight in my ribcage and boob areas. This is a fluke and I take no responsibility.)
My gung-ho attitude about getting a lot of schoolwork done in anticipation of my new job (I am totally freaking excited about it BTW) has halted because of, well, Pinterest and an Amazon.com shopping addiction. And feeling overwhelmed.
My new hobby of making those perfect-looking sugar cookies hasn't started because I'm very intimidated by the 4-hour timeline it takes to make one single batch.
In fact, the only things I've excelled at doing this summer are:
-buying shoes and pretty school supplies
-wasting time
-blowing through my Netflix queue
-regularly attending Zumba (3-4x week)(this is the only reputable bulletpoint)
-educating myself on all things Bravo
But, tomorrow I will start moving things into my BRAND NEW, NEVER BEFORE USED classroom in which I will teach BRAND NEW, NEVER BEFORE TAUGHT BY ME things.
I will take pictures. And I will blog them. And I will once again feel productive.

Your summer sounds about like mine. We are moving into a brand new school that I am oh so excited about except for the building didn't pass inspection so we can't get into it yet. So my motivation is gone. While I could be still planning lessons and doing things at home, I instead have been spending way too much time on pinterest!
