The Eleventh Day of Christmas!






It's another day of Molly and Aly's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge! 

Day 11: New Year's Resolutions!

1.  Lose weight healthily through diet and exercise

In the winter, I always pork up (what a horrible term... who came up with that?) because I get home in the dark and just want to put on pajama pants and watch Lifetime movies and eat macaroni and cheese.  And cookies.

What can I say?  I love food.

But I seriously need to get back on the wagon.  I am the matron of honor in my sister's wedding next fall, and a bridesmaid in my friend Alice's upcoming wedding, I'm going to photographed a lot soon.

So I am going to  try to lose 50 pounds in 2011-- 25 by my birthday at the end of May.

  I will join a gym and Zumba my ass off (literally.)  Plus I will  refrain from eating utter garbage all the time...

only every now and then.  :)


2.  Attend church more regularly

I really need to stop making excuses and just go.  It's not that I dislike church, I actually really enjoy it.  It's just that I always find myself busy on Sunday.  Again with the excuses!  I will go!

 3.  Be thankful and positive everyday

I am not always positive (understatement of the year.)  I often find myself jaded by my job and, well, dumb people.  So I am going to try to and actively focus on the good things, and be thankful for everything I do have.  I think a "thanks journal" is in order.

Who knows?  It might even make me a nicer person!  (As if that's possible... ha!)
