Getting to Know You

Today I'm joining in with the Getting to Know You fun over at Keely's!

1.  Do you weigh yourself?

I weigh myself EVERY.MORNING. before I get in the shower.  I know that it's not 100% accurate on a day to day basis, but it does motivate me a lot!  When I see that number go up a bit, I get a little bit stricter with my diet.  (By the way, I'm at 20 pounds lost now on PointsPlus!)

2.  What's the nastiest thing you've ever eaten?

To be honest, and hopefully this doesn't offend anyone, sushi.  I despise sushi.  I hate the texture and I don't think it tastes like nothing.

3.  Snail mail or email?

Email is so convenient, I use it for everything I can.  But I do love getting snail mail (even just catalogs!) and I always send thank you notes and cards in the actual mail.

4.  Do you have any irrational fears?  What are they?

Don't laugh at me... but my biggest irrational fear is demonic possession.  It's like a serious phobia for me!  Just commercials for scary movies about it can leave me sleepless for weeks.  

I also freak out after important emails, and go back reread them like 100 times after they're sent to check that I didn't make a mistake. 

I also sometimes think there's a scary murderer in my backseat when driving on dark roads by myself. 

I'm scared of the dark.

And I'm convinced my house is haunted.

Because I'm a big pansy. 

5.  Do you play an instrument?

Sadly, no.  I don't play any instruments.

6.  Would you rather be bitten by a snake or attacked by a bear?

I'm probably wrong about this, but I'd take the bear attack.  I mean, what's a bear going to do besides scratch you up a bit?  If you just hug it, it can't really do anything, right?  Right?

7.  Do you ever go braless in public?

Definitely not.  I can't get away with it.  To be honest, I don't even go braless in private.  I wear a bra at all times, including bed (people think I'm crazy), with the exception of the shower or bathing suit time.

8.   Today I am thankful for...

tomorrow being a teacher workday!
