Cinnamon Rolls? For Dinner?

 

Yes.
It's Mardi Gras, so I figured I better Gras it up right, because starting tomorrow I'll be on 

THE FLAT BELLY DIET (or, The FBD.)
(I love my acronyms.)


The book was a bit of an impulse purchase, but I read through it this afternoon, and it sounds very healthy.  Basically, the premise is that eating monounsaturated fatty acids or MUFAs (A diet with acronyms?  Love!) with each meal fights belly fat with good fats.
I went out and bought everything I needed for the "Four Day Anti-Bloat Jumpstart."  By Saturday, I hope to be the most unbloated person in the entire world based on the cost of the Jumpstart's necessary ingredients.

Coincidentally, this new diet is starting on the first day of Lent!  And like a good Catholic girl, I am definitely giving something up: caffeine.  True, that's one of the things I can't have during the Jumpstart, but I am going to try and go the full 40 days coffee- and soda-free.

But for now, I'm enjoying these cinnamon rolls and anticipating deflating like a balloon before Saturday.
