I'ma Get Me One

It's been almost two months since we returned Bayley to the rescue shelter.

It was difficult for us to do, and I've hated living without a dog, especially in the big empty house.

Mr. D and I decided we would get a puppy that we can raise to be a happy and well-adjusted dog and will be sponsoring Bayley at the shelter until he finds a good home.

We are officially two weeks away from New Puppy Weekend.  We haven't picked out our puppy yet, but we have been shopping around for a while.  We are going to get an English labrador retriever, either yellow or chocolate, because of their temperament. 

The idea of  the new puppy is honestly the only thing keeping me going.  There are two POINTLESS weeks of school left.  Right now, I am a glorified babysitter.  I'm just ready for this school year to be over so I can forget about it and start fresh in the fall.
