Master Bedroom- Some Progress

It's been a while since I've given a house update.  So here's a peek at what we've done in the master bedroom so far.

If you remember, I had a minor breakdown over the diarrhea-ness of my wall color (Martha Stewart Living Brown Alpaca.)  Since then, I've actually started to love it.

I didn't end up buying the Pottery Barn comforter, but Mr. D and I found one we loved equally as much at BB&B.  And the best part is we didn't have to pay for shipping! You can find it here.

My upholstered headboard.  Oh, how I love it.  It's covered in a fabric with a soft sheen like dupioni silk, and I love the nail buttons.  You can find it here.

My mom bought me a set of these lamps for our bedside tables as a birthday gift.  I love them because they remind me of the beach.  The glass actually has a bit of a blue iridescent tint.

Would any room makeover be complete without a furniture makeover?

This dresser used to be my dad's when he was a kid, and I used it pretty much my whole life.  It was in pretty bad shape.  I gave it two coats of Martha Stewart Living River Mist (thinned out a bit) and the color is close to the color of our bedspread.  I kept the original hardware, because it looks really cool.  I'm guessing it used to be brass, but I love how it looks now.
