GTKY Sunday, and THANKS!

Hi everyone!  

I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the lovely ladies who've been reading my blog lately.  I had a long week of concerts, staying late to volunteer at our school's talent show, and driving some of the members of my school's step team to a competition (which they ended up winning!)  I am prematurely old and enjoy my early bedtimes, so this last week was a bit torturous for me.  All your comments made me super happy (and a little guilty, since I slacked on commenting this week.  I promise this week I'll get caught up on what's going on with all of you!)

Yesterday I met up with an old friend (seriously, the last time I saw her was sophomore year of high school!) and we hit some of the thrift stores in town.  I didn't find any bargains, but I did splurge a little on this rug for the living room!

I have a lot of other great things to show you (the china cabinet is finished!) BUT I'm going to save them for a little bit later this week.

1.  If you could star in any movie genre... what would it be: romance, horror, comedy, or suspense?

I'd really like to be in a comedy, or a romantic comedy where I have the opportunity to make out with Matthew McConnaughey.  Gosh, his last name is hard to spell.

2.  Do you recycle?

Yes!  I do try to be green most of the time.

3.  Have you ever been to a strip club?

Negative, and I'm okay with that.

4.  Do you have a nickname?

I got the nickname DD in middle school, and now that's my initials, so a few people still call me that.  A lot of people also call me by my maiden name, or variations of it.

5.  What's a name you can't stand to be called?

A lot of students will call me another teacher's name when they mean to say mine... and there are a couple teachers I DO NOT wish to be confused with.

6.  What are your summer staples?

Sunglasses, Old Navy flipflops, comfy T-shirts, and cute sundresses.  I just bought a Liberty of London sundress at Target on sale for $20... can't wait to wear it!

7.  What's the last thing you bought for yourself?

Well, the last thing I bought were groceries.  One of my favorite things to buy myself are my Luna bars... chocolate nut brownie is sooo good!

8.  Are you happy with your boob size?

I have pretty big bazongas, and I'm fine with that.  I wish they were a little perkier though... and sometimes I definitely envy small-chested girls who can wear cute tops with no bra!
